Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of friendly competition and community engagement at the annual SHFM conference hunger awareness activity! This cherished tradition brings attendees together for a blend of entertainment, networking and philanthropy. Over the years, the dedication of SHFM members has propelled us to raise over $200,000 in support of local hunger initiatives, making a tangible impact on our community.
Mark your calendar for the 13th Anniversary event, taking place on Wednesday, October 7. Prepare to be part of a spirited competition as attendees are divided into teams to tackle six exciting challenges, all in pursuit of victory! The winning team will claim bragging rights and contribute to a worthy cause.
This year, all proceeds from the event will benefit Care for Real, an organization committed to fostering a healthy and equitable community by helping neighbors and families overcome food insecurity — with dignity.
Not interested in competing? Pack toiletry kits to support Care for Real. All materials and supplies will be provided for you to assemble.

SHFM FOUNDATION
 The SHFM Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports higher education through chapters, scholarships and student outreach programs. The Foundation is committed to its mission to develop the next generation of diverse hospitality professionals by empowering individuals through awareness, education and relationship building.
In addition, the Foundation offers funding to colleges/universities that offer or are interested in offering a corporate foodservice or workplace hospitality course. Several schools are awarded this grant. The Foundation holds events throughout the year to raise funds for these very important programs.
