SHFM Foundation Gala
Each year the Foundation hosts a Gala fundraising event in New York City. The Gala will raise funds so the Foundation can continue to be the philanthropic arm of SHFM, as well as continue our mission to develop the next generation of diverse hospitality professionals by connecting with Students and supporting and engaging with the Military. The funds we raise allow us to provide the financial means for both of those populations to take advantage of the programs offered by the Foundation.

SHFM Foundation Golf Tournament at the SHFM National Conference
The annual SHFM Foundation Golf Tournament takes place each year at the beginning of the SHFM National Conference. Again, the funds we raise allow us to provide the financial means for both of those populations to take advantage of the programs offered by the Foundation, as well as provide a networking opportunity to learn about the important work of the Foundation.
SHFM Foundation Silent Auction at the SHFM National Conference
The auction raises funds to promote and educate college students and members of the military on the merits of the Workplace Amenities and Foodservice industry. The auction opens annually on the first day of the conference. Bid High and Bid Often!
SHFM Hunger Games
Each year SHFM conference attendees come together during our annual hunger awareness activity produced in partnership with the SHFM Industry Advisory Board for an afternoon of fun and networking. In addition to providing an entertaining event, this portion of conference also offers an opportunity to give back to the local community.
With the enormous success of previous years, you won’t want to miss this annual conference favorite. Attendees will be placed on a team to compete in five activities with the goal of earning points. The team earning the most points wins! And best of all, proceeds each year benefit a local hunger relief organization.
