Some countries have restrictions as to what can be received through mail. For instance, Australia does not allow jerky or any dried meats. When I find out the country of receipt, I will mention the restrictions for you.

Construct a letter of thank you for their service and sacrifice to the service member, including a very simple introduction of yourself and SHFM.

Include your email address as the service member may wish to reply.

Here are some sample letters for you to review

If you’d like to participate in our We Care Program, the first step is to create a free account on the ShipThrifty website.
 
Once you’ve completed the setup, email SHFM HQTRS stating your level of interest (it can be one box or 100).
 
Your email address is your identifier, and the We Care Team will send further instruction along with the name of a recipient base point of contact.
 
The advantages of utilizing ShipThrifty:

• The ability to complete the mailing label and customs form online, print the label, and pay for the mailer from your office.
• The ability to take your care package to the post office and simply have the clerk scan the barcode and you’re done.
• Enjoy a much, much more economical experience depending on your choice of ship terms.

With each package sent, SHFM will accrue two percent to be used in subsequent shipping costs.
