Anna V. Bohbot (Zulaica) is a foodservice leader and sustainability advocate reshaping the future of food systems. As a Holistic Nutrition Consultant, UC Berkeley alumna, and published cookbook author based in the San Francisco Bay Area, she brings a wealth of expertise from a wide range of experience. During her decade at LinkedIn managing global food service operations, Anna pioneered transformative sustainability initiatives focusing on LinkedIn’s public commitments around Carbon, Water and Waste. She developed worldwide standards for sourcing and sustainability, leading efforts that transitioned LinkedIn’s food program to reusable materials and significantly reduced single-use plastics. By collaborating with vendors and supporting sourcing pilots with local BIPOC farms and farms following regenerative practices, she fostered more inclusive and sustainable supply chains.
Her innovative strategies extended to waste reduction and resource conservation, introducing systems to measure and minimize food waste and piloting upcycling partnerships with companies like Matriark Foods. Through collaborations with organizations such as Pie Ranch, CAFF, Kitchen Table Advisors, La Cocina, Bay Area Green Tours, and Foodwise, she enriched employees’ connections to local food systems by offering farm tours, hands-on cooking classes, and educational workshops.
Currently, as a Senior Associate at SupplyChange, LLC, Anna and her team bridge the gap between underserved farmers and institutional foodservice markets. Recognizing the challenges institutions face in sourcing locally and inclusively, she works to dismantle systemic barriers, empowering organizations to become responsible anchor partners within their foodsheds.
