CONFERENCE ATTIRE
The attire for most events is business casual. Here is the suggested attire for specific functions:
The course requires all players to wear collared shirts. Denim is prohibited. All players must also adhere to a “soft spikes only” policy.
Opening Reception: Retro Flavors! Industry Networking Event & Silent Auction
Event is outdoors; attire is resort casual. To go along with the theme, Mid-Century Modern attire is encouraged! Consider subtle vintage-inspired patterns, sophisticated silhouettes and classic accessories that evoke the era's elegance. Think: Mad Men, The Jetsons and Brady Bunch flair.
Event is outdoors; attire is casual or athleisure. If you are participating in Hunger Games, Hunger Games t-shirts and tennis shoes are encouraged!
Attire for the evening is resort / desert elevated chic, cocktail attire. Embrace vibrant colors, bold prints, linen and breezy silhouettes. Think: White Lotus, Trina Turk / Mr. Turk flair.
For Women: Dress, caftan, jumpsuit, linen, etc.
For Men: Blazer, tie optional, button down, linen, etc.
INNOVATION SHOWCASE / NETWORKING TABLES
Sponsors will be exhibiting on Wednesday and Thursday of the conference to share the latest innovations in products and services. Take advantage of the opportunity to gain insights from key representatives about the latest developments!

DISTRIBUTING PUBLICATIONS AND PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS
Distribution of brochures, fact sheets, advertising, industry publications and promotional materials is not allowed during the conference except for companies participating in the official conference sponsorship program. Distribution of these materials by sponsors is allowed only within the guidelines of the sponsorship program.
SCHEDULING NON-SHFM FUNCTIONS
Events that conflict with officially sponsored SHFM events or educational programming are not allowed during the conference. This includes hospitality suites, cocktail/dinner events, special breakfasts, focus groups or similar events.
Members or non-members who violate this policy will receive the following:
- First offense, written warning and notification of the offense with information on what occurs with second or third offense.
- Second offense, loss of ability to sponsor any SHFM event or attend the national or critical issues conference.
- Third offense, loss of membership.
