SHFM GIVES BACK

Each year SHFM conference attendees come together during our annual hunger awareness activity for an afternoon of fun and networking. In addition to providing an entertaining event, this portion of conference also offers an opportunity to give back to the local community. Thanks to the generosity of SHFM members, we have raised over $100,000 to support local hunger initiatives.

With the enormous success of previous years, you won’t want to miss this year’s 10th Anniversary event on Tuesday, September 12 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Attendees will be placed on a team to compete in six activities with the goal of earning points. The team earning the most points wins! And best of all, proceeds from this year’s event benefits Blue Watermelon Project, an organization comprised of chefs, restaurateurs and community food advocates that works with students, parents, educators and the community to assist schools in rethinking relationships with food.
