Society Members Learn & Enjoy "Harnessing the Hashtag"

The Society for Hospitality and Foodservice Management (SHFM) recently wrapped up a successful fourteenth Critical Issues Conference. This conference was held April 12, 2016 at the Time Warner Center in New York. Over 200 people attended the event.
With the theme of Harnessing the Hashtag, this conference featured educational seminars on the critical role of digital communication in today’s changing workplace along with relevance and ROI of communication plans and leveraging the impact of communication strategies in times of crisis. 

SHFM donated $1,250 to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.  And Brian Bingay made a donation of $250 from a social media drawing as well as Rob Gephardt donating over $400; a portion of his winnings in a 50/50 SHFM Foundation raffle.
