On behalf of our DEIB Council, we are reaching out to YOU with a special request! We need YOUR VOICE in helping share our diversity message and to create a video to promote this message. Would you please take a moment of your time at CIC with us and record a 10 second video?

How it works, you will film yourself saying "I'm a SHFM member, of course I ________ ( Fill in the blank with an action you do / or something you experience/ commitment you have to help foster/ deepen your sense of diversity, inclusion and belonging at SHFM)

We're inviting you to share your DIB statement for SHFM! Here are some ideas:

Use inclusive language
Educate yourself about different cultures
Create safe spaces
Advocate for diverse representation
Actively listen to underrepresented voices
Amplify their stories
Collaborate on diversity initiatives
Speak up against bias
Offer mentorship and support
Continuously evaluate and improve SHFM's DIB effort

Make it personal, aim for 10-20 seconds, keep it positive, and ensure good visual and audio quality.
